So as I  sit here and dream up ideas for my client’s wedding,  the use of burlap constantly crosses my mind. She is sweet and innocent with a small town country appeal, so this fits her style perfectly. Honestly, I was never a fan of burlap because it itches. I remember many sack races in elementary school, and the burlap bag was the choice instrument in these games.  Well now it is years later and I see many different ways that  burlap can be incorporated in weddings, and although I am not jumping for my life in it, I am finding it to be very unique.  Burlap can define your style and add class to your decor. Whether it’s used in centerpieces, accent to linens, or even as chair sashes, burlap can be an essential element to your decor.

Burlap has many uses, and it is surprisingly cost effective. In this age of technology, we can find many ideas for the use of the simple yet elegant material. So for the bride that has that country  chic appeal or that city bride that wants something different, consider burlap.  Trust me, it is not the same sack that you were jumping in to get to the finish line.
